Banjo brothers, and sisters,
I have noticed that banjo people are extremely cool and accepting people. What particular unifying attitudes do we share? Those with broad knowledge about banjos are gracious in their sharing of knowledge. All those with an honest love of folk and acoustic music seem to be friends of the banjo. I'm not talking about the occasional self-proclaimed "expert" who can not see beyond 1941. Those that embrace advancement in the instrument and in playing comprise the worldwide community of banjo friends, We rejoice in this fellowship of banjoists with natural curiosity keeping our interest on the next cool sounding banjo break. None of us are know-it-alls, but we are open to life's possibilities. Our family of banjo loving friends shares a common thread of wonder and expectation of something new each day. We embrace the creative spirit and we appreciate tradition for what it represents; History. We ask the questions that help illuminate our world. Thanks to you for being part of this fun group of people, Cheers, Tom

Tom: This is a great preamble for the BHO website. Perhaps it should be brought to Eric's attention. It would be nice to see it on the home page when we log on. Well said!
