. . . is harder than I thought it might be. I'd largely lost use of my right arm for a few years there, drastically cutting down my banjo time. Eliminating my guitar time. But I did pick up the mandolin, the one instrument I could play somewhat comfortably. Since August I've been getting stronger and have made friends with my guitar again, Hello old friend. The banjo I've been afraid of. Oh I play it, but my chops, my poor chops! Didn't I have chops at some point? I recall having had chops. I don't know how to get to Carnegie Hall, but I know I need to spend a lot more time with all my stringed friends.
