I see that the Hangout has changed my age on my birthday. Boy am I old!
My mom used to tell the story of me going to see Jackie Washington, a Hamilton Ontario performer, in 1960, when I was 16. I came home and said,"Hey Mom, I just saw this old guy and could he ever play the guitar!" Jackie would have been about 40 at that time. He's still playing at age 87 and he's still one of my guitar heros. I've added a photo of Jackie & me to my photo section.
I must say, I don't feel as old as I look. I think the music keeps me feeling young.
