Finally out on my own, I've decided to produce and record a solo project. It's always nerve-wracking to get in the studio, but I didn't anticipate how much more difficult it is to be solely responsible for a project. Turned ti Kickstarter for fundraising (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gracevanthof/grace-vant-hofs-solo-record )
I guess I'll feel it out as I go.

Grace, Good luck on your project! Do you know Don Borchelt? He lives in Stoneham, MA. Don is one fine pick'r, and a frequent contributor to the BHO; as well as a frequent visitor to the "chatroom." I live in middle Tennessee and am aware of the fine BG program at ETSU.

Yep, done some of that solo recording at home. That was pain in the you-know-what enough. Just a demo CD for a band I used to be in. I cannot even imagine all that a studio project would be. Best of luck with that and I shall look forward to the finished work. I always try to support the folks doing things on their own, as opposed to supporting the "labels".

Grace, are you no longer with Della Mae? Best of luck with your solo project. I'm sure it will be fun and rewarding. Do you miss Asheville?.......
