It seems that banjo is my fate

Posted by Janna on Thursday, March 24, 2011

Maybe you know, I couldn't find banjo strap here in Uzbekistan, because there's no things for banjo players in my country. My old strap was terrible and it was for the guitar. So some days ago my BanjoHangout friend Paul GormanPlayers Union Member sent me real banjo strap and T-shirts for me and my guitarist Alex from BanjoHangout online store! He asked me just some of my new CDs as payment for his package, that I'm preparing now and feel very happy to have real things from my favorite banjo web-site!

My CDs will be ready soon this spring and I hope you'll like them because we made it with love. I have only virtual teachers from internet, but during my education I could record full banjo CD with the real help of my friends and with my own efforts and efforts of my guitarist and mixing engeneer Alex.

I hope that my CD will inspire other beginner banjo players and maybe good banjo players too never stop and enjoy the learning process. Also I hope that people who don't know banjo music and maybe don't know what is banjo will recieve information about what is it and maybe they'll like the way I use it on my records.

Thank you, my friends! I love you!

p.s. Sometimes I'm thinking...  I never thought before that I will record banjo music and that I will play so strange instrument for Uzbekistan where people even don't know this kind of music... maybe banjo is my destiny?... maybe I could visit USA one day and could meet my banjo friends in real life? and I will be able to hear real LIVE banjo music?..Maybe I could wear real American wear like cowboy hats and boots and learn how to ride a horse like a real cowgirl! Yes, I hope one day it will become real.

I hope you make it to America and all your dreams come true. But don't be too disappointed when you find that most Americans ride Japanese cars not horses. LOL
