OK, s how ya all doin?
I am doing ok, just getting there very slowly? Funny thing, there are days my right hand fly's and then some where my fingers just lock up? it is very frustraiting... BUT I am having so much fun on the learning path and have come to really enjoy every minute of playing, practicing and when I finaly learn or master a new thing J get such a great feeling of accomplishment... I doubt i will ever get good enough to really belt out some 200 mile an hour tunes but just being a part in this banjo community is rewarding enough.

Hi lou, Good to see you on here. I am doing the same thing. Constant practice to better of my playing and always learning more. I have been concentrating on Chords and Chord Changes and you know what, singing and playing is much more fun than just palying. I'm not much of a singer, but it is relly fun. I guess that's why all the guys at the jams look like they are having a ball. Keep on keeping on. 73 NSCAR Augie

It sounds to me like you hit the point where there isn't much difference between playing and practicing if you enjoy both. That was a significant milestone for me. I took guitar lessons as a kid and hated practicing. I finally gave up the guitar. The banjo has been very different. Glad you're having fun.

YES, I am enjoying my practice time. I compair it to learning a new game. The more I play the better I get. I had a wonderful practice tonight. I was hitting note much better and my rolls were doing well. I know I have a VERY long way to go but tonight I played Banjo in The Hallow the best yet! I think this is going to be a long time frendship, me and mt Banjo... My wife thinks I am nutz. I have my banjo strapped on almost all the time I am home. LOL, I just want to keep at it and work the motor control problem out.

Just got Cripple Creek WOW it is amazing how much I have accomplesed in only 2 months! YEA, I got a heck of a long way to go BUT it is so cool the ride
