Well, after 2 weeks of waiting, the Deering Basic I bought on Ebay finally arrived yesterday.
It's pretty nice, although, I will change the strings out, and maybe the head too, because it's somewhat worn. All the wood is in very good condition, and the steel rim and hardware as well. I think I got a fair deal on it for $500.
I like the weight, and the sound is crisper than my Goodtime.
I think this one will be better in a jam setting than the Goodtime, because it seems to project a little better too.
Pick on!
Ken

I have never seen the basic. Would you add a few pictures to your channel so I can look?

There are a couple there already. The 2 with brown stain and rosewood fretboard. I will add some more soon though.
