Don Couchie had shared with me that he would be passing through Louisville Kentucky for a visit to First Quality Music and I had to make sure I did not miss a chance for a visit with another Hangout friend. I took a vacation day and off to Louisville I went.
Don, his buddy Greg and I met at First Quality to make some memories together. Don was picking a guitar when I got there and then switched to the banjo for some great claw hammer tunes. It was a great first meeting and I look forward to others just like it.
We then left for a visit to Arthur Hatfield's. Don rode with me from there so we could continue our visit while on the way to Arthur's. We had a nice time getting to know a bit more about each other. Don is a great guy and he made it easy for us to enjoy the visit. Arthur and Bev were doing well and we had a great visit. Don picked many banjo's and I think there was one that he really liked a lot.
We picked Rick Crisman's new Buck Creek banjo and as always it was a hoss of a banjo. Arthur makes professional quality banjos for a very nice price. I want to thank Don and Greg for letting me share a part of there day. Man it was another memory and I am sure finding that there are no better friend's than right here on the Banjo Hangout.

Yeah, it was a great day and I thank Don for letting me be a part of it. If I didn't know better I would say this blog is being boycotted.
