My New Dixie Banjolele Arrived Today!
I purchased a Dixie Banjolele from a BHO member last week & it arrived today.
Marvin was so gracious as to even add some Xtra parts to go along with it.
I received 4 Dixie Necks & some bridges so now I can put those 4 Cookie Tins I've been saving to good use.
I'm going to now build 4 Cookie Tin Ukuleles with the 4 Necks.
On second thought, I'm thinking...Maybe 2 Cookie Tins and 2 Cigar Box Ukuleles. Yeah that's the ticket.
Well that's it for now so, I guess I'll get to work. Once again, Thanx Marvin for the fast shipping.

I put cookie tins to good use by emptying them.
I was going to make a cookie tin banjo, but instead I used the round pan from a cheap portable grill as the pot/head and stock lumber from Lowe's as the neck. Pictures on my home page.
Good luck with your projects. Post pic's of the finished products.
