moving out.

Posted by Pepper Laing on Thursday, February 17, 2011

Hi freinds. I`m very down right at this moment as it`s been one of the worst days Ive ever had. I had oral surgery today, so was already not feeling so good. This evening I found out that when my common law wife of 11 + years went on a girls vacation to mexico, she met, cheated on me, and fell in love with some guy named Chad from Wisconsin. I`m moving out as we speak and will be staying at my studio where at this time there is no internet so my time on here may be somewhat limited until everything gets all sorted out. Thanks to all my freinds who have been supportive to me on here.  This just came right out of the blue, I`m kinda messed up.

Wow Pepper, what can someone say in this situation, first and foremost don't blame yourself. Second, find something that fulfills you and dive into it, i.e, your music. Third, and this is the most important, don't blame yourself, it wasn't you, or anything you did, or didn't do, trust me, I have been there. The person who strays did so for their own selfish reasons, and we can't stop it, if they are set on their paths. I pray you can rise above this setback and use it for your own good. Take care friend and know that we weep and pray for you in your time of need. quikcarl

Pepper, I am saddened by this news. You need to look past what you think you see right now and force yourself to find the good in what is around you. Your family, friends, your music and your love for life. I understand that this will no doubt be a challenge for you, but your mind is the strongest muscle in your body and in times like this, you must use it before the negative feelings overwelm you. Good luck friend and if you need to get away for a bit, Southern Indiana welcomes you.

Oh man that's bad news for sure I cannot say anything that Donnie hasn't already said try to stay positive and you will bounce back I have been there it takes time, but time heals all wounds they say after it happened to me I met the best woman I could ever have as a wife. If she strayed she will more then likely do it again, so the guy shes with will also experience it. What comes around goes around....

Dang Pepper, thats bad stuff. Ive been there my friend and know that it hurts like the blazes. But you just need to hang on, concentrate on the positives in your life, like you real friends and your music. Dont try and second guess everything in that broken relationship. If you know what went wrong, take note of it, learn from it and move on. She has made her choice and now has to live with it. There will always be a women out there that wont cheat if the relationship is healthy and strong. Evidently there was something missing for her to do that and she just never said anything to you. Either that or she just decided to have a fling with her drunk friends, which tells you all you need to know about how strong the relationship was between you guys. Just remember the folks like you banjer picking buddies will stick with you and support you man. Hang in there

Yep, Pepper, that stinks. No where to go but onward and upward. Lean on your friends and your faith. I'll add you to my prayers.

Man... really sorry to hear this Pepper. Like others have said above, hang in there, try to concentrate on positives, try to find other friends to talk to, play the banjo. Do what you can to stay as positive as possible in the moment.

It may be a while, but things WILL get better eventually

Pepper,
Sorry. when someone lies, cheats, or steals it says something about them and their character and loyalty, not the ones they violate. sorry for your hurt.

Thanks everyone for all the supportive comments, I`m trying to keep it all together, taking it day by day, knowing it will get better as time goes by. I`m trying to pop in as often as I can, and decided to not be forced out of my home until I`m good and ready. Need to get the Internet hooked up over at the studio, then I can feel more in tune with the world. My knee jerk reaction was to pack and flee, but have been spending as much time as I can handle here at the house. Can`t wait til everything is over and done with. Keep on pickin freinds.
