Things are hoppin' here at the grain elevator! The farmers are getting started with the spring planting, so it's been fertilizer, and grain cleaning time! Today I got to learn how to change screens in the grain cleaner. From oat cleaning, to barley. It was pretty interesting! A little hard on the "strummin" hand though!
Got to play a little this week. Was also reading in the forum a few of the topics, and was wonderin' what the difference was between frailing, and clawhammer. I know about clawhammer, but what is frailing?
"How can one not feel happy, when they hear a banjo play?!"

Hey (hay?) Arabella,
I have been looking for stuff on the banjo since I got mine and I came across this video on youtube about frailing. It is an excallent 40 minute lesson on the subject, so it is long and in depth.
Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo0cy0REMY8
That video has more ansewers than I had questions for in the first place at this point.
