Agatha Christie Connection

Posted by BryanWB on Saturday, January 22, 2011

Bigbury-on-Sea, Devon, UK. When tide is out the mainland is linked with a sandy causeway to Burgh Island, with Burgh Island Hotel, which has links with Agatha Christy and Poirot, having been the inspiration for Ms Christy's "And Then There Were None".

The only link with banjo playing is that I live near there!

I've never read a Christy novel. I think I should. Like the banjo, reading is great.

Hi Sons of Erin - thanks for you comment. Sorry for asking, but is Kester your name? And would be interested to know where you're from (nosey guy ain't I? heheh). Looks like you're new on here, and if that's the case, then WELCOME!!!. Bryan.
