My fiddle player slipped on some ice and had to go get surgery done on his left hand thumb. He now has a screw in his thumb and will be in a heavy cast for 6weeks, and then a lighter plastic cast and physio. What bad timeing we are in the middle of recoeding an album, and have shows coming up. Change of plans ahead!

Bad news. Mind you my lad managed a few gigs on electric guitar with two broken fingers strapped together. Not the same as a full cast I s'pose.
