I'm touched and so happy this Holiday Season 2010 because I have had one of the best years ever! If you need to ask why, well -- it has everything to do with banjos. I don't believe I have ever felt as fortunate as I have this past year to have traveled so many new and different places in search of the next jam, festival, or academy. Portland, Anchorage, Dawson City, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Independence VA, Ketchikan, Dezadeash Lake -- OK, when I went to Dezadeash Lake I really was more in search of solitude, swans, and early fall camping under the Northern Lights...but my banjo was a nice part of it all, also!
Anyway, friends I have met here on BHO have become friends in person, and if any of you are reading this, I am looking forward to our next meeting. Until then, THANK YOU for the inspiration -- fun -- laughs -- tips -- info on where to get the best gear -- tunes!

And same to you! Yeah, this banjo thing has taken me to a lot of wonderful places, and I have met some great people I would have missed otherwise.

Hey Nancy! I missed this when you posted it. Happy New Year! Are you coming down for POTMG? If not, we'll certainly miss you. Glad you had such a great year last year. I'm jealous of all your travels, but had a pretty good year too so can't complain.
