Anybody know of anyone or have any contacts regarding a good banjo teacher? I just moved to Sevierville, TN which neighbors Pigeon Forge, TN..

If you're near Pigeon Forge, check out Jack Hatfield. He not only teaches, but has authored many fine beginner books. Check out his website at hatfieldmusic.com. He's also a member here so you might check out his home page.

I went by Jacks and he's not teaching anymore. Thanks again for the tip, you never know till you try.

No, he was busy driving and think he really didn't want talk while doing so. He asked me to call his work number to leave my info and said he'd get back me later.
