Would be interested in any tips for new-novice. Have pretty good picking skills from guitar, am learning Scruggs style but like classical as well. Also like hearing about your learning experiences. Thanks!

Welcome to the hangout. I am a used-to-be guitar picker who got interested in the banjo. There is a lot of good info here and a lot of great guys to help. I wrote a good bit on my site about my learning experience - if you care to read it.

Thanks, will take a look. Having a lot more fun with it than I can remember with the guitar. Can't put it down. Will head to your site right now.
