Expand your repertoire of banjo tunes while improving your technique and tone. We'll explore tunings beyond basic G, begin drop thumbing, play together as a class to steady right-hand rhythms, and practice simple chordal back-up. We may even sing and play banjo at the same time! Students must be able to tune their own banjos, play a few tunes slowly, and have a solid foundation of skills - preferably from a recent beginner's class. Level 2: Continuing (can play a few tunes slowly) and Level 3: Intermediate (can play 10 or more tunes, not quite up to tempo) |
