So there I was with the television on and my banjo in my lap. I was watching the Detroit Lions while, at the same time, practicing the old "bum ditty" strum. I need the practice and I thought maybe, just maybe this might (somehow) help the Lions to finally win a game.
It didn't.
Final score: My bum ditty getting better / Detroit Lions getting worse!

I sometimes play while watching football; or the weather report. You don't really have to have the sound on for either, and you still won't miss much.

Yep, practice while watching baseball or football, but especially when the Lions play. Otherwise you've wasted a whole 3 hours of your life! They are just plain pathetic.

But Mike! This is the year! Go Lions! I never give up hope until after they're 0 and 8.
(However: Practicing while watching is a great idea.)
Cheers,
Kevin
