What's the best interview of a banjo player you've ever read and what made it so good? Can it be found anywhere currently?

Earl has been inteviewed in Bluegrass Music Profiles, and in Fretboard magazine. Both excellent inteviews.
Non-banjo interviews: Ricky Skaggs recently in Fretboard magazine, talked about style, performing, and how a great instrument inspires your music.
Itzak Perlman inteview: talked about his two prize violins; a Stradivarius, and a Guanari.

Well, my dad asked me once "what is that dumb looking thing you're playing with and why does it sound so bad whatever it is you're doing to it?"
I like a good honest appraisal without the sugar coating.
I don't think he ever printed it, but must have told some other relatives because I never got many invitations to visit after that.
