been a while since I posted...this year's Willow had all the usual ingredients...rain...a kick butt t-storm friday afternoon that nearly blew me and my canopy away (thanks to all who provided ballast!)...and I got soaked clear thru...and a 2nd less intense storm Friday nite
I sat playing Hell broke loose in Georgia with Bill and Colleen Foley when mother nature broke loose and we were forced to stop
no sleep Friday nite...washed out tent...made blueberry pancakes sat. morn. for 4 hours...slllllllllllow food...and lots of other great food
lots of great tunes sat...played sat nite till I didn't even have any fumes left...and more good tunes Sunday it till time to go
watched the creek slowly rise friday afternoon after the big rain...when much to our relief it finally stopped rising and started receding
great to see so many old friends...still wish we could get Greg Steil to attend...as he has for so many years in the past....sigh
a fun time...I encourage all who live withing striking distance of NW Illinois to attend...it is always the 2nd full weekend in August...if'n you decide to go I recommend you get there as close to noon on Friday as possible...camp in the north overflow part of the campground and there you'll find me and my buds
see you there in 2011
