Congrats to Michael Johnston of the UK, winner of the drawing for a custom Jay Moschella minstrel banjo. Way to go, Michael! It's about time one of our friends from across the pond won a drawing!
Big thanks to Jay for creating and donating this beautiful instrument. Be sure to visit www.jaymoschella.com to learn more about Jay's banjos.

I'm absolutely amazed and can't wait to get my handa on the little beauty! I guess I'll have to start learning a whole new style of playing.

Well if it couldn't be me, I'm happy for Mike!
As Eric said, nice to hear that it's going across the sea!

Congratulations Mike. I hope you will enjoy playing this instrument as much as I enjoyed building it, and that it will provide an entry point to (what I consider to be) an entirely fantastic, and sadly overlooked, repertoire of early banjo music.

Alright Mike congratulations. Hope you have fun playing that new banjo. I went to Jay's website and those banjos look great, sound beautiful also. It will definitely be an awesome addition to any collection.
