Im fairly new to banjo but not to music. Been playing guitar for yrs so its made banjo playing a lot easier im hooked and not just on the fith fret lol
i have a open back by wild wood and a morgan monroe. I love em both of course, for different reasons.morgan monroe is a sweet bluegrass picker with a nice bell to it.i can play three finger but not clawhammer so well still trying to learn. of course the fun is not being there as much as getting there the journey fantastic!

Banjo is just great, isn't it. Sure it's a pretty hard instrument to play but you gotta love it, you can't play a sad song on the banjo.

i love it my wife and i wrote a song on me banjo the other day that made u s cry when we play ed it but maybe it was the joy of the music and not the sadness. i think its kinda both there lol
