Looking forward to tonight. The guild is having it's meeting at our house and we're doing a pot luck and jam. If the weather is good we have deck, a porch as well as a few inside rooms for big and little jam groups. I'll opt for the deck as the sunsets are beyond discription over the ridges. We've hosted the December meeting a couple of years but this is the first time we've done it during outside picking weather.
The last few weeks have been hard to get much playing or jamming with work and a family crisis or two popping up. I managed to get to the Blue Ridge Music Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a few hours on Sunday; always a fun and relaxing jam. Beautiful venue! I also got to a local jam at The Stringbean coffee house in Galax on Tuesday evening so maybe the run of interference is broken.
Yeah.
