I have been playing for about 18 months and I haven't learned to use a capo yet, I would like to know which capo is best.

There are various types of capos out there and I would suggest one that is adjustable. I use a Shubb and you can adjust it as you capo up and down the neck so the banjo doesn't go sharp as you capo.
If you get one that is not adjustable, then you have a problem with retuning the banjo every time you capo up because the capo tightens down and makes the banjo go sharp.
