I just returned from the Griffin 100th banjo celebration in Shropshire, England. What a weekend!
Fantastic pickin' and wonderful friends. James Bowen, maker of the Griffin banjo, celebrated his 100th banjo (which was his own!) and invited all who had a Griffin banjo and friends who wanted to jam with those banjo players to come celebrate. We camped in the Powis Arms pub campsite and in B&Bs around the village.
James built a treehouse in his back garden and invited a few friends round to jam in the treehouse. What fun! I felt honored to be invited.
Thank you James for the wonderful weekend and the fantastic banjos you make!

Sounds like a great time was had by all. Nice photos of the treehouse too!
