OK, so it's not a banjo festival but it sure is a good time. Beautiful setting at the Grayson Highlands Park and really nice music.
A bit of a weird event for me this year. I had a very bad reaction to a double bee sting at the end of the week and was under the influence of some serious pharmacuticals; and in the direct control of my wife who wasn't sure I was safe at any speed on my own. (yeah..... what's new?) I felt as if I was about a foot and a half away from myself and apparantly my reaction time and responses were all over the page. It didn't stop the music from being really nice and it was a great day to sit out and just enjoy the park and the talented people providing super music.
Just for reference, I do think I prefer to be completely at a festival when I go!
