So I got back from the weekend up in the 'Big Smoke' having watched the team I didn't want to win the Premiership, win it, and got soaked (on the outside). The the team I wanted to win (England) unconvincingly beating the Barbarians RFC in glorious sunshine (but with food poisoning!)
Having had such a good weekend, I decided to begin re-integrating myself and my banjo (sorry Ike - can't bring myself to donate it just yet!) by finding a right hand position and technique that doesn't cause any aggravation (at least to my elbow - those in earshot may not agree!)
It goes pretty well, and I've discovered a number of things about my right hand technique that I hadn't really noticed (despite pointers in the right direction - you again Ike!)
I'll let you know how it ends up. I have started enjoying wathcing the YouTube footage of Lester McCumbers too - lots to learn there for me, I feel!
