Well, a while ago I flicked on my bass's amp, swung on the strap and started plucking, and to my surprise, nothing came out. DANG! My pickups went out. I've tried everything to get it going again, stupid thing was just out.
I was just about to buy a new (for repair) banjo when it happened. Now all my savings are being sucked down for a dumb old bass!
Of course, I was really ticked because I had just installed them, what, two dang months ago?! I knew it would happen one day, though, they were these dumb Chinese imports. I am never buying for my instruments out of the country again, nothing from out of here ever works from my experiance, having gone through amps, contact microphones, and all sorts of thier cheap junk. Good grief...
I guess I can kiss my almost mine banjo goodbye just to fix this son of a gun. And my pay for the five or so projects I've just turned out and probably the next ten, unless I find a hundred dollar bill lying on the ground!
I've put much more money into this Ibanez than what it's really worth. But it is pretty, I had done much repair work to it before, along with painting it in an Americana style. I hope it doesn't cost too much!
