James Bowen, maker of Griffin banjos here in England, is celebrating making his 100th banjo. The celebration weekend is in Lydbury North, Shropshire, England June 18-20 at the Powis Arms pub. Camping with hook-ups available.
James would like anyone who owns a Griffin banjo to come celebrate, along with anyone else who wants to join the fun. We need other instruments beside just banjos, that's for sure! :-) There will be a concert on Saturday night with some favorite bands.
I own one of James' banjos (pics on the photos page) and love it. I can't say enough wonderful things about James' banjos. My banjo, 'Beauty' is made of cherry and sounds very sweet.
