Down to one

Posted by Pepper Laing on Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Well I`m now down to just one banjo, 2 weeks ago I had 3. I just made a trade on my 1966 Gibson for a Bluett Brothers F style Mandolin, can`t wait to get it. I`m gonna need a 2nd good banjo for stage tho so time to start saving and searching again. My Pre War I got from Jim Mills is a keeper, I`m never getting rid of it, and someday would like to explore the idea of having a replica built to it`s specks. Check out my photos "New Mando" Peace!

I agree and I know it won`t sound like this one, because well it wouldn`t be a 1933 so the age wouldn`t be in the wood, but I have never played another banjo with a neck like this and I think I`m spoiled now and would want the neck as exact the same shape and size, may as well have all the other stuff made as close to this one as possible. The neck being the main thing.

Hard to believe your down to only one. With your talent you need at least one for each hand. LOL Pepper.
