Best bluegrass banjo--an original (dunno exactly model or date) Gibson Top Tension with a new (non-copy) neck. Just awesome. Coulda bought it for $3K (ca. 1977). Shoulda.

My 1925 Stromberg 'Cuppophone' with bell brass resonator. (conversion) Photo on my home page photos down at the bottom of the page. Been playing it since 1961.
