I probably won't be on BHO much, for the next few days. I'll be attending Banjo Camp North, in Groton, MASS.
Chuck Ogsbury, of OME, will also be attending. (I'll be picking him up at the airport, tonight). He'll be bringing along a few new OMEs to exhibit.
So... you can probably find either of us hanging-out near the OME table, in the exhibit area -- if you want to stop by, and say "hello". (My beard is currently shorter, and whiter, than my photo at left. Chuck is still short, and looks like Chuck.)
If there's enough room at the OME table, I might even bring along a few early ODE banjos, to display -- in honor of Chuck's 50th year as a banjomaker.

Hi Ed: I just saw your blog. Had I know, I might have driven down just to see the display, along with you & Chuck.

Sorry... I didn't think of that.
We had fun. Chuck was flying out, and only was able to bring 4 banjos. He only resereved one table, so there wasn't a lot of room anyway. I brought 3 original ODEs:
1. - A 1961 standard neck openback.
2. - A c1964 aluminum-rim resonated Bluegrass banjo -- rosewood, engraved and carved
3. - A c1965 Muse Style No9 longneck openback -- rosewood, engraved and carved

A friend here in Maine and HO member (Scott Semle) just bought a custom Ome longneck...I may have already told you. It's the prettiest l/n I've seen.
