and a first effort at Salty Dog - anyone know if the licks as taught in the YCTYB book are "standard, well-known" licks or are they just the way JD teaches? Just curious.

1. yes it will take years.... and years and years and years :-)
2. You're doing awesome I jus listened to both of your new recordings and they sound great, I mean they sound really good.
Don't beat your self up, your doing better on t than I ever did. Keep up the good work cuase you just keep getting closer to where you want to be.
