The first version we heard of this was Norman Blake's on guitar, but of course it is a traditional Celtic tune. We've heard many versions since then--including very stately and grand versions with piping bands.
Here's our version on banjo, cello banjo, guitar and drums.
There is an MP3 up here at BHO on my music page.
It's on our new "Drumming On the Edge of Banjo CD.
There is a simple banjo tab to it in my Florida Banjo Tab Book.
If you'd like to see how I play my banjo version--here is a little informal Youtube by the Suwannee River.
