Chad won the drawing for a Gold Tone CEB-5. Chad goes by "10gauge" on the site--you can see his homepage here. Congrats to Chad, and a big thanks to Wayne and the rest of the crew at Gold Tone for sponsoring the drawing!

Holy smokes! I guess this softens the blow for loosing the "Who Gets The Last Word" game. Thanks so much! I never win anything and I've been working on my clawhammer version of Cluck Old Hen lately. It should sound pretty good on this new Gold Tone! P.S. I never use exclamation points when I write until today!

That's how you won! By losing at "Who Gets The Last Word" game. Devious! Oh, but I just used two exclamation points. Now I'll never win.

(Congrats and tell us all about the rare world of playing the cello banjo.)

You're sure going to enjoy this one. I am playing one in my avatar photo, I have to confess it was a delight to play. I am sure you will find it a pleasure also. Congratulations!!

Waytogo Chad! Good to see some members I'm familiar with winning these prizes.

Congrats. If I couldn't win it I'm glad someone won it who it sounds like will put it to good use. I guess now I'll go back to those instructions on the internet of how to build a homemade cello banjo for $41.

I just don't understand it. I thought I had this one in the bag, I prayed and burned candles and did all the usual sacrifices to the Banjo gods, It's Possibly I didn't follow the right protocols. Oh well I'll win the next one, I just know I will.

Congrats Chad on your luck of the draw, I know it couldn't have gone to a better member and person. [:)]

Hey Terry, I think that most people go with sacrificing chickens, but that's a mistake. For banjo contests you have to go turkey and the wilder the better:)

Congrats on winning a great instrument! I saw Marcy Marxer play one two years ago at Fox Valley and was more than impressed, both by her playing and the Cello Banjo itself.

Let us know how you like it after you've had it for awhile; I'd be interested to know!

Congratulations. You live too far for me to come hold it a couple hours; guess I'll have to win the next one.

I just got my new banjo today! It's beautiful and sounds fantastic. I've been playing and playing and can't hardly put it down.
