O.K., the roof is leaking, but it's raining, so who wants to get wet goin out there to fix it? Besides, my ladder is at a friends, and besides, it only leaks when it rains. Otherwise it's fine.
Think I'll just stay here in the studio and do some pickin. We've got some fine new recording coming along although we've had to re-tool what with Joel moving up north. But fiddle is awesome.
This next cd. is going to be called " Coal Train", and that'll be the title track. No banjo on this song. Doing guitar on it, but it's prompted some old steam train research. I remember the old steamers as a boy. Now THAT was technology. 800,000 lb. engines, 100+ mph. ( yup, you read right ) Weren't no compukers on them babies ! Open 'er up, and let 'er fly.
I'll be posting a Tony Furtado tune " Tyson's Dream" in a few days. Syncopation makes it a tough one. Tony, also a BHO member, replied to my request for permission to post it within a few hours, and was super gracious.
