hi everyone
I'm a city kid from New York, now grandfather of 7. Just bought my first Banjo. I love the music and am about to venture in learning how to play at 59. I've look on the internet on how to start to learn, but I'm confused about the scruggs roll for starters. never played any instrument and know nothing about music notes or cords. I'm sure there is someone who can explain in detail on which fingers. The thumb is for the first three strings, index for the fourth and middle for the fifth. I've tried to watch how the roll works, but just get confused. Please help?
