I got the last of the braces glued on my banjola tops and backs. I still have to do the center seam reinforcement on the backs, though. But what concerns me is my lack of enthusiasm towards playing at the moment. It seems that I go into building mode, where all I want to do is build, and then once in a while I'll switch over to playing mode for a while, but buildind mode seems to predominate. Maybe it's because I'm a halfway decent builder and only a poor musician? But it's not like I couldn't do both - I rarely build past 9:30 at night and I could spend a half hour playing after that easily enough - I just lack the motivation when I'm in building mode.

Doesn't sound like a problem to me. Henry Ford said, " If you chop your own fire wood, it will warm you twice."

I'm sure at some point you'll be in playing mode...probably while you're thinking about what to build next!
