well, im finally back. cut my thumb pretty good a while back and couldn't even put a pick on. thumb has healed well. done with bikes for the season ( getting to cold here, high in the 40's today) so now ive started a new banjo project and been practising more. it came back very quickly, im no worse off than i was but still cant play worth a crap. not giving up though. i want to be able to atleast keep myself amused. going to see "the nob hill boys" saturday. my instructor is in that band. really looking forward to that, the wife has never seen them and doesn't know what to expect. im sure she;ll like it.
we remodelled the bathroom over the last three months. loving that! now i can actually stand in the shower! (couldn't before) we moved a wall two feet and so had to redo the office as well. but now i have a wall to display banjo's. its looking very nice, the wife is a very hard worker and she doesn't mind doing drywall. she's actually pretty good at it.
will talk to john (my instructor ) about getting back into lessons when i see him on saturday. i really need help!
all in all, things are back on track and going pretty good!
