Hi gang,
Just a quick message to say howdy to you all. Life is good over Michigan way; we're enjoying a nice summer (although a bit cool for the next 5-7 days.) I'm gigging fairly heavily throughout August, which is a blessing. I'm still enjoying self employment/unemployment...getting them state checks is giving me the time and flexibility to build my blogging business and web business. So...at least for the short term, life is good!
Heads up for the local (Michigan) Hangout members: my group Rogue River Grass (www.roguerivergrass.com) is playing the Hudsonville Fair this coming Fri., Aug. 28, at 6:30. Come on out!
I put out an offer to all Hangout members giving you free shipping on the Banjo Diploma, and I must say you've come through nicely for me. I've sold 6 this week, which is great. Check the store out at www.banjosrule.com.
And last but not least, check out my blog. I just started a 4 part series detailing my journey towards learning a new song. I talk about the tools and techniques and methodologies like metronomes and Riffmaster and TablEdit, and I invite you to learn the song right along with me. Part 1 is up now. If you check it out, please consider commenting on it. Part 2 will be out later this week.
Folks, have a super fantastic week and don't hesitate to say hi via the many avenues that are available for reaching me. I'd love to hear from you. That includes questions from beginners! Bye for now.
