Classes here at UGA start next week on August 17th. I guess I'm ready for it. I've spent all summer doing yardwork and lawn maintenance for folks around Athens, Georgia. I've also been restoring my vintage '72 Ford F-100 truck that I bought in late April. As far as bluegrass music, I'm looking forward to some new cds from my friends at Skaggs Family Records, Rebel, and others to play on my radio show Bluegrass Junction. I have kept on deejaying over the summer with much support from all the listeners and folks who donated music to the show.
Bluegrass Junction will continue this fall on 90.5 FM WUOG and live streaming at www.wuog.org every Sunday at 4pm til 5:30 pm.
