R.D. Lunceford asked whether I had tried to transform any slip jigs into reels. I hadn't, but while driving to work today, I hummed "Hardiman the Fiddler" and then started to transform it. I thought it would sound good on my fretless banjo. The result changes the tune from 9/8 to 6/4. Does that make it a crooked reel or something different? http://www.banjohangout.org/myhangout/media-player/bho-player2.asp?musicid=13957
