Back in the Saddle

Posted by BrittDLD1 on Friday, July 17, 2009

Had the 3rd follow-up with my neurosurgeon, today.

My CT scan was clear. The hematoma has "resolved" itself.
No other problems are apparent.

Have the "OK" to drive!

(Still wearing a ballcap, 'til my hair grows back.)

Ed, That is great news and I am so glad to hear it. I will continue to mention your name in my prayers. I just received a kidney transplant Monday the 13th and I am still in Duke University Hospital as I write this. I hope to go home tomorrow, everything is working great. Is not our Lord wonderful!!!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I really appreciate the support here on the BHO.

It's great to finally have things resolved -- and be able to drive again.  I've got about 2-1/2 months of "to-do's" that I STILL have to do!

Carp DM!  ;-)

I'm a little late in catching up with the news, but am really happy to hear this, ED. Enjoy the new lease on independence and mobility ;-)

 Yipes!

Howdy Ed! I was going to send you a message on a different matter, went to your homepage, and get the news on all of this. Well, I'm glad you've come through by the grace of God and some great medical folks. And all those pesky " to do's" are problem. But the great news is that you're okay, and we're all might happy about that!

Ed:

Great news indeed. So it's now certain we will all see you at the gathering of the banjo-impaired in Rochester.

Best regards,

Bob
