The first Zebra finch fledgling appeared outside the nest, just a few minutes ago. So cute! He came to the corner of the cage nearest my computer (the cage is on my desk) & looked at me as if to say "You sure don't look like my mother!". One of his siblings is now standing at the nest 'doorway', watching him.

Charlie, check out my photo album here on the Hangout, entitled "Joe Val 2009". There are quite a few shots of Willie being played by different folks, & also a couple of me with Bill Hayes (who did the conversion) & Willie. I could not be more pleased with a banjo; this Willie is a powerhouse!
