A Little about me...

We live in Minnesota after moving here in 2008 from England and have had the good fortune of meeting and befriending some of the nicest people, We came here with 3 children and all our pets ( 2 dogs and 5 cats) . I've been working alongside my husband Johnny for 8 years assisting in producing and arranging music and also learning upright bass ( you can only have 1 banjo player per household!)

I studied psychology and also animal care and since we moved here have continued our work in animal welfare (we're now up to 10 cats 2 dogs and two pigmy goats called Billy-Bob and Petunia... no I didnt name them!) Eventually I would like to be able to open an animal sanctuary on our farmstead but at the moment we're way too busy with looking after the children and adjusting to American life :-) Everyone always asks me ... why Minnesota?... my answer has to be .. why not!? Its a beautiful part of the world wiith some of the most genuine friendly and helpful people we have ever had the privilage to meet (plus I have a thing for snow lol).  I love photography and take most of the bands promo shots and have been fortunate enough to have had some of my work published here in the US although this will only ever be a hobby for me.

Hope thiss has given you a little insight into 'me' and I look forward to meeting you all sometime down the line

Take care

Sammy

I lived in Fergus Falls before I moved to Maine...long winters, lakes, and cold weather in both places. How  did you end up in Hawley? I have actually been there. I usually go to Ottertail Lake  in the summer, but I'll miss it this year.

Hey John, Johnny came to the states in 92' and played all round the Midwest and loved the area and the people so when we got the opportunity to come back to live the Midwest was the obvious choice.. and we thought if were going to have snow then we might as well have SNOW!!! :-)

Shame your not coming up this yera you would have been welcome to drop by and grill

Just read your updated bio Sammy. Sounds good but I have a question. What is snow? We don't have that stuff down here. We thought we would see some last year but it was north and south of us and still no snow here. Well maybe next year.
