We have changed places. Our location is at a bar and restaurant that is attached to the local shooting range. It is great! It is a bit further out of the way than the old place, and those who come to hear really want to be there. The food is good and the management is very accommodating.
The core of one local band are pretty much regulars. I feel good that they want to come out and pick with us. In fact, last night the only one missing was their fiddle player. He has a long drive to come for a weeknight. I haven’t gotten a chance to play with him yet but he sounds great.
Since our move, only one person asked to mess with one of my instruments. I told him the story about the last place where someone had proceeded to “tune” a number of them and that I would prefer that he not, and he was fine with that. I invited him to come out and bring his own instrument. He has not shown up but he is more than welcome.
We have had a couple of BHO members come out, but none have become regulars. Anyway partners, if you are in South West Germany on the second Thursday of the month come on out. The info is in the Jam links.
