Well, all 4 eggs hatched, but 3 babies survived. I found the youngest one dead, on the other side of the cage, last night when I got home from work. I have seen parent birds do this before, where they will dispose of a dead or sickly hatchling, as far away from their nest as possible. Mother Nature knows her stuff, as much as it is sad to see these things happen. The other 3 babies look to be doing well. They are boisterous little beggars when they get hungry!!
