LOL! Our fawn Zebra finch "couple", Fred & Hopper, recently laid a clutch of 4 eggs. Since 6/28/09, 3 of the 4 eggs have hatched. [See my photo album for pix of the new family]. So far, all 3 hatchlings look to be doing well. Time will tell whether that 4th egg will hatch. This is an average size clutch for Zebra finches, but often, one or two eggs will remain unhatched. You can see the unhatched egg in several of my photos.
