well, i haven't had alot of time where i can practice. summer is here and i have alot to do outside. i think my biggest problem is that i work twelve hour nights. when im working, all i do is work and sleep. when im off i try to be a day person but its not easy. i try to sleep at night with my wife but usually end up waking at 1 or 2 in the morning. can play then without waking the wife. its not easy but its a good job especially when so many are out of work. definitely going to have to try and figure something out soon before i forget the little that i have learned. its 5 a.m. now and ive been up since 1. back to work tonight. ill get in a little practice today before i take a nap.

You need a little sound proofed shed at the bottom of your garden, or easier still....earplugs for the wife? It's frustrating isn't it, my husband goes to bed really early so I have to practice without picks barely touching the strings and hammer it out durinig the day when there is a chance. Don't give up.
