Performance at the Kennedy Center

Posted by BradKolodner on Friday, June 5, 2009

On January 2nd, my father Ken Kolodner and I played on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center. Approximately 500 people showed up for the free concert. It was an amazing experience! My father, Ken Kolodner, is a world renowned hammered dulcimer player who also plays old-time fiddle. Here is the link to the page that has the recording of our performance online. Click on 'Play this performance' at the bottom of the page.

Ken will be at Kentucky Music Week later this month, and I look forward to meeting him.  (I'm teaching clawhammer banjo.)  My sister plays hammered dilcimer with Kentucky Standard Band  and has told me about Ken.  What a great experience to play on the Millennium stage with your Dad!
