On January 2nd, my father Ken Kolodner and I played on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center. Approximately 500 people showed up for the free concert. It was an amazing experience! My father, Ken Kolodner, is a world renowned hammered dulcimer player who also plays old-time fiddle. Here is the link to the page that has the recording of our performance online. Ken will be at Kentucky Music Week later this month, and I look forward to meeting him. (I'm teaching clawhammer banjo.) My sister plays hammered dilcimer with Kentucky Standard Band and has told me about Ken. What a great experience to play on the Millennium stage with your Dad!
